After appointment, appointee must obtain a valid Restricted Radiotelephone Operator's permit issued by the Federal Communications Commission.
Working Conditions
Communications Dispatchers may be required to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays or nights; and may be subject to a standby (on call) work status.
Salary and Schedule
Full-time, AFSCME - Position : Biweekly salary $1,727.99; Grade 11. (Candidates might qualify for placement above entry level salary if they are currently employed in the state system and transfer without a break in service, subject to verification by the Vice President of People & Talent), plus a comprehensive State benefits package.

Hours : 40 hours per week
Shift Available : To be determined; may be required to work varied shifts, weekends, holidays or nights and may be subject to a standby (on call) work status.
