Permanent Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Opportunity
Location : San Angelo, Texas
Facility : Newly Renovated Women's and Children's Hospital
Setting : Level II NICU (Transitioning to Level III) POSITION OVERVIEW
Join a growing neonatology team in a progressive and expanding NICU. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate, experienced NNP looking for long-term growth in a supportive, team-based environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide care for critically ill and premature newborns in the NICU
Conduct comprehensive physical exams and develop individualized care plans
Order and interpret diagnostic tests
Assist with delivery room resuscitations and newborn assessments
Educate and support families throughout NICU stay
Collaborate with neonatologists, nurses, RTs, and other staff
Maintain accurate, timely documentation SCHEDULE
Transitioning to 24-hour shift model for enhanced coverage QUALIFICATIONS
Current Texas NP license (or eligibility) - Required
Board Certification as Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Required
Experience in Level II or III NICU - Highly preferred
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills HOSPITAL HIGHLIGHTS
4 NICU beds, 10 IMC beds

Plans underway to upgrade from Level II to Level III NICU
