POSITION SUMMARY :

  • The Director of Operations (DOO) is a member of the senior leadership team responsible for overseeing and optimizing production processes.
  • This role will manage and direct all production facility operations, ensure safety and quality standards are met while maintaining production schedules and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
  • The DOO will collaborate with other leaders to develop operational plans in alignment with the company’s strategic goals.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) compliance : Ensure QHSE compliance with the company’s policies and procedures and lead improvement initiatives.  Delivery : Responsible for on-time delivery of goods to internal and external customers Cost : Develop and manage budgets and resources and implement improvement plans to maximize cost People & culture : Manage staffing requirements, onboard and develop employees.
  • Oversee development plans and performance for all manufacturing staff and foster a culture of efficiency, quality and safety.

    • Production planning :

  • Responsible for developing and implementing production plans to meet customer demand.

    • Manage supply chain activities to ensure timely and cost-effective performance Leadership and communication :

  • Lead by example.

    • Promote an environment of clear, open and constructive communication with internal and external stakeholders Reporting :

  • Ensure timely and accurate performance reporting Risk management : Identify manufacturing operations risks and develop and implement contingency plans.

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 8+ yrs. experience in manufacturing and / or warehouse leadership Deep understanding of relevant OSHA standards Basic finance and accounting skills Experience managing and implementing lean manufacturing principles Strong problem solving and analytical skills SUPPLEMENTAL : Place of Employment is located in Aurora, CO at a newly constructed, climate-controller, warehouse / building with amenities.
  • This position requires the Director of Operations to make themselves available at any given time as requested by Senior Management.

    • Possible travel and on-site work COMPENSATION PACKAGE :

  • Annual Salary  (commensurate with experience) : $145,000 - $170,000 Discretionary Bonus potential / offering Competitive Benefits package : Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance coverages 401(k) retirement savings program PTO program for optimal work-life balance Employee Reimbursables No visa sponsorship available.
