Job Description

As a Security Officer - Industrial Patrol in Albuquerque, NM , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned manufacturing and industrial locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a visible presence. You will perform routine patrols, interact with people in a professional manner, and provide outstanding customer service. Your responsibilities will include responding to incidents, reporting irregularities, and supporting a secure environment for all individuals on site. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors at the manufacturing and industrial location by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Document observations, incidents, and / or activities as required by site procedures.
  • Assist with controlling access to restricted areas and monitoring visitor and personnel movement within the location.
  • Communicate professionally with team members, site personnel, and Allied Universal management regarding security-related matters and site activity.
  • Remain alert and attentive to changes in the environment and report any irregularities or unusual situations in a timely manner.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Experience in customer service is preferred.
  • Comfort in using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
