About the Role
The DevOps Engineer (Development Operations / AWS Cloud Solutions) is responsible for architecting, deploying, and maintaining scalable cloud-based platforms using AWS. This role combines cloud infrastructure expertise with modern DevOps practices to deliver robust, high-performance solutions that drive our organization's digital transformation.
In this role, you will design, deploy, and optimize cloud-native solutions while implementing modern DevOps practices and platform engineering principles. This role focuses on AWS cloud architecture, deployment automation, and infrastructure management, bridging traditional infrastructure with modern cloud-native development.
Primary Responsibilities :
Cloud Architecture & Deployment
Design and deploy end-to-end cloud solutions using comprehensive AWS services ecosystem
Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation for scalable deployments
Architect and deploy microservices platforms on AWS EKS / ECS with container orchestration
Design and implement scalable, secure cloud architectures with high availability and disaster recovery
Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance and cost efficiency through continuous monitoring and analysis
DevOps & Platform Engineering
Build and maintain robust CI / CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, and modern automation tools
Implement comprehensive containerization strategies using Docker and Kubernetes orchestration
Develop automated deployment and rollback processes with zero-downtime deployment capabilities
Create and maintain comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using CloudWatch and third-party tools
Implement service mesh and API gateway solutions for microservices communication and security
Technical Architecture & Data Solutions
Design scalable cloud-based data solutions with real-time processing capabilities
Implement comprehensive data security and governance standards ensuring compliance with industry regulations
Create detailed technical documentation for systems, processes, and architectural decisions
Optimize performance of business intelligence applications through infrastructure tuning and monitoring

Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
4+ years of experience in business intelligence / analytics, including 2+ years with AWS cloud services
Or active Master's / PhD candidate in Computer Science, DevOps Engineering, or related discipline
Strong programming proficiency in multiple languages :
Primary : Python, Java, SQL
Secondary : JavaScript, Bash scripting
Proven experience with API development and RESTful service design
Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data pipeline automation
Strong understanding of containerization technologies and orchestration platforms
Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaborative development workflows
Knowledge of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
Excellent analytical thinking and complex problem-solving abilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts

Estimated compensation for this position :
95,000.00 - 115,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
