Rate of Pay
Starting at $22.50 + additional pay based on relevant work experience
Responsibilities
Gathers information about possible training objectives through discussions with warehouse management and Human ResourcesConducts training sessions covering specific topics and areas (such as on the-job training, process changes, warehouse management systems, safety, shipping, receiving, etc.)Administers and documents testing to measure progress and evaluate effectiveness of training.Performing all inventory functions to ensure accuracy, efficiency, compliance, profitability, proper material handling, and minimal damageUsing Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) data to ensure efficient and proper inventory controlResearching and identifying quality control issues to minimize recurrence and ensure regulatory compliance Identifying opportunities for improvement of all inventory functions and programsFill in as needed in warehouse if not actively training another team member or preparing training materialAssist team members in reaching required productivity levelCheck condition of pallets and exchange where necessaryPromptly report damage and all inventory discrepancies to supervisorMaintain cleanliness and repair of dock and facility areasEnsure pallets are wrapped and stacked for safe transport to storageSafely operate appropriate Material Handling Equipment after trainingMaintain all food safety, housekeeping and other applicable standardsOther duties as assigned.Education / Experience
High school diploma or GED. College coursework, continuing technical education or comparable business experience preferred2 to 3 years of Warehouse experience preferredExperience operating Material Handling Equipment preferredExperience as a Selector preferredSkills & Qualifications
