As a Product Manager on our Investment Products team, you will create an experience that redefines what consumers expect in financial services, launching new investment products that give consumers the confidence and trust to achieve their short-term and long-term financial goals. This talented individual has a strong track record in product management and someone that brings creativity and humility, product sense and analytical skill, leadership, and ability to collaborate .

You will be responsible for setting the vision, identifying opportunities and key inputs, setting goals, defining client experiences, leading the launch of new investment products, and delivering features. As a product manager in our organization, we look to you to set big, ambitious goals, be gritty, and hold yourself and your cross-functional teams accountable to deliver results on behalf of our clients. You will be a vocal and empathetic customer advocate, influencing and building cross-functional experiences with stakeholders across all business units.

This role is inherently cross-functional-you will work closely with engineering, marketing, data science, design, operations, finance, risk, legal, compliance and executive teams to set business objectives , define product strategy, prioritize features and execute on them. You'll play the critical role of driving the business while bridging the technical and business worlds to drive profitable business growth while managing risk.

What you will do :

Define a product strategy that identifies opportunities that will have the biggest consumer impact, helping our end customers achieve their financial goals.

Own the product roadmap, including both significant short and long-term opportunities for your product and in the context of the broader organizational strategy and goals.

Bring clarity and structure to ambiguous opportunities.

Obsess about the product design, partnering closely with Designers to constantly look for opportunities to simplify experience and deliver a better experience.

Leverage customer research, usability testing, and market research in your strategy to improve likelihood of success and user satisfaction.

Partner closely with engineering and design to increase team velocity, cohesiveness, and productivity.

Inspire and i nfluence leadership, peers, and cross-functional partners to drive buy-in and consensus.

Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive product requirements, manage resources and dependencies, gain approvals (compliance, legal, etc.), and lead the team through key milestones.

Understand Empower's business goals, the competitive landscape, and design products that align with our mission and vision.

Define, analyze, and track key performance metrics.

Drive decision making through customer insights, agile methods to validate hypothesis, quantitative analysis, and A / B testing.

Execute at a fast pace with a focus on customer outcomes, the user experience, and learning with limited oversight.

Constantly challenge the status quo and identify opportunities to move faster and more efficiently.

What you will bring :

3+ years of experience leading major (digital) direct-to-consumer products and working collaboratively with engineering, design, and research teams.

Exceptional prioritization and stakeholder management skills, particularly working with compliance / legal partners in a highly regulated industry.

Excellent communication skills, storytelling , and organizational skills that instills confidence in senior leaders, cross-functional partners, and peers.

Relentless follow through and commitment to do the right through and do what you say.

Detail and design oriented; the details really matter to you.

Passionate about tackling complicated and impactful customer and business problems.

Critical, analytical thinker and comfortable analyzing data and pulling out key insights.

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience .

What will set you apart :

Proven track record of navigating through the full product life cycle, integrating customer feedback in requirements, driving prioritization, and pre / post-launch execute .

Experience in the fintech industry with demonstrat able knowledge of industry best practices .

  • Base Salary Range

    $94,200.00 - $133,050.00

    The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
