• MA cert - required before starting
• Medical Assistant credentials must be obtained from in-person proctored exams from the following certifying bodies : NHA, AAMA or AMT. In-person proctored credentials from other certifying bodies may be accepted upon approval from Human Resources. Online proctored exams are not sufficient to meet the credential requirement.
• BLS - required before starting

Schedule / shift : Monday - Friday 8a to 5p / 5 : 30p

Pay rate : $17-21 an hour depending on experince

Overview of responsibilities : The MAs will work with a provider. They will see about 15 patients in the morning and 15 in the afternoon. The MAs will need to perform point-of-care tasks like urine dips and recognize abnormal results, especially with critical patients, as the clinic handles renal transplant patients. They will work with a provider's team, back office staff, and med students / fellows.

Requirements / Must Haves : Active MA certification is required.

This is Contract to Hire - 520 hour contract
