Supply Crib Supervisor
Responsible for managing and overseeing the supply crib operations in the Supply Crib.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Ensure that the parts crib is well-stocked, organized, and secure.
- Manages crib and planner personnel as assigned.
- Tracks the inventory, usage, and condition of the parts and new or reconditioned equipment.
- Monitors material being used to ensure that they are properly pulled from stock, checked for accurate counts, marking and style.
- Records and monitors the supply crib activities and generates reports.
- Helps to optimize the efficiency, productivity, and safety of the technical support, repair, or maintenance processes.
- Ensures technicians and engineers have the right parts and equipment for their jobs and that the parts and equipment are in good working order.
- Prevents supply loss, damage, or theft and reduces cost and waste.
- Monitor reports and purchase orders to ensure there is proper inventory.
- Works with purchasing and crib personnel to ensure parts are entered and tracked in the inventory system.
- Provide customer service to anyone that approaches the crib, help locate parts, and issue material out using barcode scanner to individuals as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Salary Range : $55,000 - $70,000
Requirements :
1. Must meet one of the following Education and Experience requirements :
High School Diploma or GED, plus 2 to 4 years of experience in an inventory management or purchasing position in a manufacturing environment; ORAssociate's Degree in Business or as manufacturing-related discipline, plus up to 2 years of experience in an inventory management or purchasing position in a manufacturing environment2. 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role
3. Must be able to operator a forklift and be forklift certified
4. Must have the ability to life, push, or pull up to 40lbs on a regular and consistent basis.
5. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas :
