Payroll Accountant

A company is looking for a Payroll Accountant to join their finance team.

Key Responsibilities

Process bi-weekly or semi-monthly payroll and ensure compliance with regulations

Assist with month-end and year-end close processes and prepare financial reports

Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

3-5 years of experience in payroll processing and general accounting

Strong knowledge of payroll and accounting software

Thorough understanding of payroll tax laws and GAAP

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
