As an integral member of the Finance team, the Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for

accounts receivable functions of the agency, as well as accounting functions as assigned by the Executive Director for the finance office. Assignments are made by the Executive Director and are in the best interest of Community Care. The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for billing / collections, analyzing the accounts receivable aging, account reconciliations, month ­end closing and billing system setup and monitoring. This position will also reconcile monthly bank statements, post journal entries into the general ledger, and assist in issuing monthly financial statements. Proficiency in accounts receivable software operation and maintenance is required, as well as knowledge of general ledger systems. Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated, and be able to work independently and as part of a team, manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
