Job Summary And Qualifications The Licensed Vocational Nurse / Licensed Practical Nurse (LVN / LPN) coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care by performing a variety of delegated basic patient care services. In collaboration with the RN and other members of the care team, the LVN / LPN provides individualized, comprehensive, and compassionate care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty. What qualifications you will need : Graduate of accredited school of Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) Florida Licensed Practical / Vocational Nurse (LPN / LVN) Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date IV Therapy must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date HCA Florida Mercy Hospital is a 488-bed facility. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and offer a wide range of medical specialties. These specialties include emergency care, heart, and vascular care.
