We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronics, an aptitude for meticulous measurement, and a drive to ensure all equipment meets rigorous standards of accuracy and reliability. Key Responsibilities :
- Calibrate dimensional and torque measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, torque wrenches, and gauges.
- Perform calibration, adjustment, inspection, and testing of a wide range of electronic instruments, test equipment, and measurement devices according to industry standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize specialized calibration software and automated test equipment to ensure precision and consistency in all measurements.
- Document calibration results, maintain accurate records, and generate detailed reports for internal review and client delivery.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with electronic devices, recommending and executing corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance staff, and other technicians to resolve complex technical challenges and improve calibration processes.
- Stay current with advancements in electronic calibration standards, technologies, and best practices.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Assist with the maintenance and calibration of internal reference standards and laboratory equipment.
- Support internal and external audits as required, providing technical expertise and thorough documentation.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to expand knowledge and skills.
Qualifications :
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Metrology, or a related field, or equivalent technical experience.Minimum of 2 years’ experience in electronic calibration, test equipment maintenance, or a similar technical role.Proficiency in the use of multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power supplies, and other electronic test instruments.Familiarity with calibration standards such as ISO / IEC 17025 and ANSI / NCSL Z540 preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an exceptional attention to detail.Excellent organizational and time management abilities.Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document technical information clearly and accurately.Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.Commitment to continuous improvement and professional growth.What We Offer :
