job_description.job_card.job_descriptionSeeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Geriatrician to join a well-established practice with five Geriatricians, nine APPs, and full-time nursing staff Competitive salary range of approximately $310,000 $315,000 annually Primary responsibilities include nursing home coverage and ambulatory clinic; no hospital practice required Monday Friday, 8 : 00 a.m. 5 : 00 p.m. clinic schedule Opportunity for medical directorship and long-term care at an additional nursing home Provide service in sub-acute, rehabilitation, and short-stay environments Call : one in twelve weekday / weekend rotation for geriatric service (ambulatory clinic patients only); physicians are on call for their own nursing home patients during the week Opportunity for academic and / or research affiliation Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI) 50 miles (domestic), Chicago O Hare International Airport (ORD) 130 miles (international hub)
