Schedule Night shift, 7 PM to 7 : 30 AM; every other weekend required, with holiday obligations. Job Description The Telemetry unit seeks a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality nursing care to patients. This position involves monitoring patients with cardiac issues and maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment. Nurses will be expected to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms using Phillips Cardiac Monitors. Administer medications and IV drips per protocol, including Cardizem and Amiodarone. Document patient care and monitor conditions using the Epic charting system. Collaborate with a charge nurse and nursing aides to deliver effective patient care. Respond to emergency situations in accordance with established protocols. Participate in patient education and discharge planning. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current BLS and ACLS certifications as per AHA standards. Experience in telemetry or critical care preferred, but first-time travelers are accepted.
