Parker Meggitt (Securaplane), a recent addition to Parker Hannifin, is a global leader in the Commercial and Military Aerospace markets. We specialize in a wide range of products including fire and smoke detection systems, extinguishing systems, bleed air overheat detection systems, actuators, rudder pedal assemblies, pumps, fuel gauging systems, and high-temperature cables. Located in Oro Valley, AZ, this site is within the Fire Safety & Power Systems Division (FSPSD) and is a key supplier of camera systems, energy storage products, and security systems in aerospace markets. We work directly with some of the largest aerospace companies in the world, including Airbus, Boeing, Gulfstream, Bombardier, Embraer, and Textron, among others.

Sr. Test Technician
Responsibilities
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation.
- Maintain an acceptable safety record.
- Maintain an acceptable attendance record.
- Willing to learn to test and troubleshoot various products as required.
- Complete necessary training to maintain knowledge and skills required for job performance.
- Follow written and verbal instructions.
- Position requires overtime to production schedules and demands.
- Adhere to all company guidelines, policies and procedures.
- Self-monitor work progress against fast-paced area benchmarks and achieve on time delivery of all work.
- Assist with area efficiency and 6S improvement projects.
- Assist other departments with job duties and tasks, as needed within the scope of expertise.
- Complete additional job duties and tasks as assigned and instructed by supervisor.
- Perform maintenance and alteration tasks in accordance with current technical data provided in the manufacturers' instructions for continued airworthiness, services bulletins, service letters, airworthiness directives, government and industry standard practices, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
- Complete work according to instructions, specifications and procedures, with limited supervision.
- Properly record the work performed on the appropriate maintenance record.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance is required. May need to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and additional hours as necessary.
Physical Requirements
Approximately 80% sitting and 20% standing / walking in indoor company facilities.Lift and carry up to 45 lbs.Use hand tools and power tools.Use head and neck in static position, looking up / down and side-to-side.Perform major hand grasping and fine finger manipulations using both hands.Perform light lifting from floor, table and shelf.Push and pull carts or mobile tables, loaded and unloaded.Minimal heavy lifting from floor or higher, bending, twisting, climbing, lifting arms above shoulders, kneeling.Minimal exposure to excessive noise, hazardous chemicals, hazardous equipment, uneven walking surfaces.Qualifications
Education : High School Diploma or equivalentCertifications : N / AExperience : 3-5 years work experience in an electronics Manufacturing / Testing environment (preferably Aerospace) or completed OJT training for at least 10 applicable productsSkills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, resourceful, and able to work both independently and in a team environment.Ability to read schematics and understand circuit function.Perform troubleshooting of analog and digital circuitry malfunctions to the component level.Fluent in technical communication, both verbally and in writing.Ability to set up and utilize manual and automated test equipment to conduct test and troubleshooting of digital and analog circuitry.Ability to program and operate environmental test chambers.Able and willing to comply with Drug-Free Workplace policies and pass all related drug / alcohol screenings.Experience with MS Office Suite; computer literacy.Candidate Requirements
