We are seeking a proactive, dependable, and health-conscious Team Lead to support daily operations at our Health Food and Smoothie Shop. In this leadership role, you'll ensure a smooth and efficient shift while promoting a positive atmosphere and excellent customer experience. Core responsibilities include scheduling , inventory management , staff training , and team supervision.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Team Leadership & Staff Management
- Supervise daily shift operations and provide support and direction to team members.
- Foster a positive, health-focused work environment.
- Address and resolve staff performance or behavior issues with professionalism.
- Ensure all employees follow food safety, cleanliness, and company protocols.
2. Scheduling
Create and manage weekly team schedules based on sales trends and staffing needs.Coordinate shift coverage and handle last-minute changes.Monitor timekeeping and ensure adequate shift coverage during peak periods.3. Inventory Management
Oversee inventory of smoothie ingredients, health food items, packaging, and retail products.Order, receive, and stock inventory while ensuring quality and freshness.Track usage and minimize waste through efficient inventory rotation and planning.4. Training & Development
Train new hires on food preparation, customer service, product knowledge, and health standards.Provide ongoing coaching and development to existing team members.Ensure all staff are aligned with brand standards and health-conscious practices.5. Operational Support
Open and / or close the store following operational procedures.Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both staff and customers.Handle customer concerns and provide solutions that align with company values.Qualifications :
3+ years of experience in a food service or retail role, with at least 6 months in a supervisory or leadership position.Strong leadership and communication skills.Passion for healthy living, nutrition, and customer service.Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.Familiarity with scheduling or inventory software (training provided).Food Safety Certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
