Gpac is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to lead QA programs and ensure the highest standards of food safety, compliance, and product quality. This individual will oversee quality operations on their assigned shift, driving adherence to company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and enforce QA policies, procedures, and directives to ensure compliance with company, customer, and government standards.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and testing throughout all phases of production — from raw materials to packaging and distribution.
- Lead and support HACCP, GMP, and SSOP compliance programs; perform pre-shipment reviews and validation studies.
- Participate in customer and third-party audits, including SQF certification reviews.
- Collaborate with Operations, Sanitation, and Maintenance teams to ensure plant cleanliness, food safety, and operational excellence.
- Identify root causes and implement corrective actions to resolve quality issues quickly and effectively.
- Develop and maintain strong documentation and reporting systems to track quality metrics and compliance data.
- Coach and develop team members to strengthen overall quality culture and technical expertise.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Microbiology, or related field (preferred).5+ years of quality assurance experience in a food manufacturing environment.Strong knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMP, SSOP, and SOP programs.Familiarity with USDA and FDA regulatory standards.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and quality data systems.HACCP and / or SQF certification preferred.Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Proven ability to lead, influence, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Us
