Mechanical Project Manager

POSITION SUMMARY :

The Mechanical Project Manager will report directly to the Mechanical Operations Manager as well as Senior Leadership. The position encompasses responsibilities related to project management, strategic planning, and client service.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES :

Mechanical Project Manager

  • Manage various projects as assigned by the Operations Manager or Director;
  • Provide proactive and positive client interaction throughout service delivery;
  • Initiate continuous improvement and embrace technology enhancements;
  • Maintain open communication among project team members, consultants, inspectors, agencies, subcontractors, and trade participants;
  • Adhere to Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Best Practices;
  • Maintain corporate standards and project control requirements, including documentation in accordance with contract terms;
  • Manage project finances, contract changes, and claim resolutions in line with corporate standards;
  • Assist marketing with proposal development and presentations;
  • Monitor market influences and subcontractor / vendor participation for competitive bidding;
  • Support procurement and estimating with bid document distribution and scope review;
  • Implement project estimate document control;
  • Evaluate client and site-specific concerns that may impact productivity and scheduling;
  • Participate in peer reviews for project insights and scope clarification;
  • Provide project information for scheduling and performance tracking;
  • Assist in developing project-specific QA / QC programs;
  • Ensure field compliance with specifications and technical requirements;
  • Coordinate project close-out, start-up, and training;
  • Participate in lessons learned and operational initiatives;
  • Engage in continuous education and professional development;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Business Development Support

  • Follow up with clients to identify opportunities and develop project strategies;
  • Participate in RFP responses, including project approach, logistics, scheduling, and staffing;
