Project : To support our CATO (Cloud Adoption & Transformation Operations) program.

Location : Houston, TX-Hybrid-3 days onsite

Minimum 15+ years in IT experience

Minimum 6 years in Application Architecture / Modernization

Must Have : Hands-on portfolio assessment & rationalization (6R : rehost, replatform, refactor, rearchitect, replace, retire).

Must Have : Deep experience modernizing legacy stacks (Java / .NET, Oracle / SQL Server, packaged apps; mainframe a plus).

Must Have : Azure-first designs using AKS / App Service / Azure Functions, API Management, Service Bus / Event Grid, Logic Apps, Key Vault.

Must Have : CI / CD & IaC (Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions; Terraform / Bicep), containerization (Docker / Kubernetes / Helm).

Must Have : Data modernization (Azure SQL MI, DMS, Cosmos DB; exposure to Synapse / Data Factory preferred).

Nice to Have : Tools : Azure Migrate, App Service Migration Assistant, DMS, CAST Highlight, AppDynamics.

Nice to Have : Security-by-design, API-first and event-driven patterns, domain-driven design.

Nice to Have : Certifications : Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, TOGAF
