Responsibilities Work on a Medical Surgical Oncology floor in a hospital setting Patient ratios are 1 : 6 or 1 : 7, requiring experience with higher ratios Night shifts, 4x12 hour schedule from 19 : 00 to 07 : 00 Block scheduling may be considered Minimal to no RTO allowed, especially around holidays Uses Cerner and Soarian EMR systems Required to wear royal blue scrubs (not provided) Pre-assignment modules must be completed through HealthStream Up to 8 hours of non-billable training modules required before start date Holiday coverage and minimal requested time off expected Residents within 31-50 miles of the facility are considered locals and will receive the local rate Candidates living less than 30 miles from the facility are not eligible Royal blue scrubs are required in this unit Two professional references must be provided for consideration Requirements Active GA or compact RN license required Current BLS certification required Minimum one year of recent Med / Surg RN experience required Experience with telemetry and IV starts required Oncology experience highly preferred Previous travel nurse experience preferred Must provide copy of Driver’s License and proof of residence for consideration Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-627935.
