Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool position requiring MO or compact RN licensure and recent travel experience.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Pediatric Critical Care Float Pool within a hospital setting
  • Requires floating between PICU, NICU, and CVPICU units at the same campus
  • Night shift position working 3x12 hour shifts
  • 13-week assignment duration
  • May be required to float to a neighboring Kansas campus in rare circumstances, KS license encouraged
  • Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
  • First time travelers are welcome to apply
  • Hospital maintains a nicotine-free policy with testing
  • Flexible scheduling is preferred
  • COVID and Flu vaccination may be required
  • Nicotine use is prohibited on campus

    • Requirements

  • Active MO or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA) certifications required
  • Recent travel nursing experience is mandatory
  • Pediatric critical care experience within PICU, NICU, or CVPICU required
  • Clean Nursys license record
  • Two professional references from a supervisor or higher completed within the last 12 months
  • Must provide date of birth and social security number for consideration
