Description :

The unit has a total of 10 beds.

There are 5 full-time staff and 1 PRN staff member.

Day shift coverage includes 4 staff members.

Night shift coverage includes 3 staff members.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is 1 : 4.

Key equipment includes EKG monitors, nasal cannulas, and vital signs machines.

The electronic medical record system used is Meditech.

Typical procedures performed on the unit include lumbar punctures, IV insertions, and surgical wound care.

The best personality fit for this role is energetic, caring, compassionate, and confident in their skills.

Strong social skills are also essential.
