Machine Operator (1st Shift), up to $20.00 / hr – Huger, SC

Qualifications :
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks (twist, bend, stoop, squat, climb stairs / ladders / platforms)
Ability to work under little supervision while meeting production deadlines
Safety-oriented and reliable with good communication skills
Skills :
Read and follow work order instructions and complete all documentation
Perform full machine setups and adjustments to meet customer specifications
Inspect arbor and overarm setups, reconcile coil identity, and load coils
Operate multi-blanking machine to slit-to-width and cut-to-length
Monitor blanks for defects, measure dimensions, and ensure compliance with specifications
Band, label, and document finished goods accurately
Assist with troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and material handling (forklift / crane preferred)
Accurately use measurement tools : tape measure, calipers, micrometers, height gauge, Rockwell tester, SPC charts
Maintain housekeeping in MBL area, remove scrap, and assist packagers when needed
As a Machine Operator, not only will you be responsible for machine setup and operation, but you’ll also play a vital role in quality control, documentation, and ensuring customer specifications are met. This job, depending on your work ethic, could be a short-term or long-term fit.
