As a mobile medical practice serving the senior population , we are currently seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant (MA) with strong clinical and administrative skills.
👉 This role requires current Medical Assistant certification or equivalent formal training.
The Medical Assistant will provide direct clinical and administrative support to a designated provider, balancing responsibilities between in-office and field support throughout the week. Candidates must be adept at working with seniors, capable of multi-tasking in a busy environment, and possess strong clinical knowledge and professionalism.
About Our Practice
Our medical practice is dedicated to delivering quality medical care to seniors in their residences, particularly within assisted living communities. We are committed to enhancing the quality and scope of medical care provided to the elderly population.
Our services encompass geriatrics, house calls, post-acute rehabilitation, wound care, palliative and hospice care, chronic disease management, and more.
Patients are seen in skilled nursing facilities, nursing homes, independent and assisted living communities, board and care facilities, and private homes.
Minimum Requirements
Certification as a Medical Assistant (MA) from an accredited program or equivalent formal training and clinical experience — this is a required qualification
Must be local to the Los Angeles area and able to commute to our Beverly Hills location
Current CPR certification preferred
Job Responsibilities
Schedule and coordinate patient visits
Check patients in / out and manage visit documentation
Follow up with patients, family members, and facilities
Carry out Provider's orders and support clinical workflows
Assist and support the Provider during patient visits
Review patient charts and prepare for visits
Answer phone calls and manage communications
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with your assigned Provider
Lead and coordinate weekly meetings with your Provider and Care Team
Oversee a virtual assistant to ensure all tasks are completed
Support the clinical team as needed
Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by the RN Nursing Director and Team Lead
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess :
Certified Medical Assistant (MA) credentials
Extremely strong computer skills (EHR, email, MS Word, spreadsheets)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Outstanding interpersonal skills
Professional appearance and demeanor
Dedicated, reliable, punctual, and flexible
Strong basic clinical knowledge
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
