BACKGROUND

Forestdale is a NYC child welfare agency working to prevent child abuse / neglect through parenting, prevention, and foster care services, focusing on low-income and immigrant communities in NYC. Forestdale operates out of three offices to better serve the families of Brooklyn and Queens. We help thousands of families work through complex trauma, parents raise the next amazing generation of children, and youth successfully launch into adulthood. Job Summary

The Bilingual Licensed Social Worker is responsible for clinical assessment, intervention and treatment planning for all children on their caseload in the foster care program. Clinical hours count towards LCSW.

Salary

• Masters / Limited License - $60,000
• Masters / License - $65,000
• Masters / License / Bilingual - $67,000 - $69,000

Minimum Requirements

Required background checks, including NYS Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse / Maltreatment, NYS Sex Offender Registry, NYS Division of Criminal Justice Services fingerprinting, NYS Justice Center Staff Exclusion List, NYS OMIG Medicaid Exclusion List.
