We are seeking a dynamic Human Resources & Marketing Coordinator who can wear multiple hats : leading recruitment efforts, supporting human resources functions, and driving marketing initiatives that strengthen our brand and employee experience. Position Summary :

The Human Resources & Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment, supporting HR operations, and coordinating marketing activities. This role requires a balance of people skills, organizational expertise, and creative energy. The ideal candidate is highly adaptable, detail-oriented, and excited about working across disciplines to support both employees and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities

Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for all open positions including job postings, sourcing, resume screening, phone interviews, interview coordination, reference checks, offer letters and onboarding.
  • Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies, leveraging job boards, social media, networking, university internship programs and employee referrals.
  • Partner with leadership and board members to understand current and future staffing needs and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline.
  • Track recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, retention) and recommend improvements.
  • Ensure a positive candidate experience aligned with company values.

HR & Employee Experience

  • Serve as the first point of contact for HR-related questions with professionalism and empathy.
  • Support Human Resources operations, including onboarding, offboarding, performance tracking, payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, and HR records management.
  • Work with board members and onsite employees to provide support, processing, oversight and compliance with onsite operations.
  • Assist with performance management processes such as annual employee surveys, annual and semiannual reviews and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations and training initiatives.
  • Work with leadership to plan and coordinate employee events and occasions.
  • Contribute to process improvements and HR projects that enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
  • Marketing & Communications

  • Coordinate marketing campaigns and branding projects that align with company core values and support both recruitment and client growth.
  • Manage and update company digital presence including social media channels, ensuring engaging, authentic, and brand-aligned content.
  • Create engaging content for newsletters, blogs, recruitment postings, and internal communications to staff and board members.
  • Assist with promotional products and company apparel.
  • Manage annual board member surveys.
  • Google and BBB review management.
  • Support event planning for employee programs, community events, and client engagement.
  • Track and report on marketing performance and recruitment metrics.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and best practices to continuously improve marketing strategies.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 24 years of experience in recruiting.
  • Additional HR or marketing (cross-functional experience is a plus).
  • Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect and convey information with professionalism, clarity and authenticity.
  • Human Resources and Recruitment Expertise : Knowledge of employment laws, Human Resources best practices, and full-cycle recruitment processes. Experience with HRIS, ATS platforms, and onboarding systems.
  • Marketing and Branding Skills : Experience in social media management, content creation, marketing campaigns, and collateral design. Ability to develop marketing strategies that enhance recruitment and brand visibility.
  • Analytical Thinking and Reporting : Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to track metrics and generate meaningful reports to guide decision-making.
  • Highly organized, resilient, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Time Management and Organization : Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Independence and Initiative : Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accountability for assigned tasks.
  • Team Collaboration and Professionalism : Collaborative mindset with a strong sense of ownership, responsibility, and accountability. Ability to build relationships with property teams, leadership, and external stakeholders.
