Facility is looking for a temporary General Radiologist (for Main Hospital and MRI Center) with Fluoroscopy Responsibilities.

Start Date : November 1, 2024

  • Nov 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29
  • Dec 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 30, 31
  • Jan : 1, 2, 3, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31
  • Feb 10, 11, 12 ,13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28

SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS :

  • Board Certified - REQUIRED
  • BLS / ACLS Certified - REQUIRED
  • Active NC License & DEA : REQUIRED
  • Clean Malpractice : REQUIRED
  • Specialty / shift preference MUST be noted at time of name clear : REQUIRED

    • POSITION DESCRIPTION :

  • Diagnostic Procedures : Conduct stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies.
  • Fluoroscopy Procedures : Supervise and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. (3-4 / day)
  • General Radiology : Conduct and interpret routine imaging exams such as X-rays, CTs, and MRIs.
  • Light Interventional Procedures : Not a 100% IR Position (No IR Call)
  • Mammography Specialist with General Dx and Light IR Responsibilities / Flouro Supervision Onsite (8a-5p)
  • Breast Imaging : Perform and interpret imaging procedures such as :
  • 3D mammography
  • Digital mammography
  • Breast ultrasounds
  • Perform non-complex procedures such as : (5-6 / day)
  • Image-guided biopsies
  • Drainages
  • Kyphoplasty
  • PICC line placements
  • Paracentesis and thoracentesis
  • Systems Used :
  • EMR : Meditech
  • PACS : Intelerad
  • VR : Fluency
