Position Overview : As the Alumni and Family Engagement Coordinator for our addiction treatment program, you will be responsible for fostering a supportive and engaged community among program graduates and providing support services to family members and loved ones of our alumni. Your primary focus will be on maintaining relationships with alumni, providing ongoing support, organizing events, and facilitating opportunities for continued growth and recovery as well as managing and facilitating the family support group and being available to provide support to the loved ones of our alumni, as needed.
Education :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of one year of experience in the substance use disorder field.

Key Responsibilities :
Alumni Engagement :
Build and maintain relationships with program graduates through regular communication (phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings.)
Provide ongoing recovery support and encouragement to alumni as they navigate life after treatment.
Serve as a liaison between alumni and the treatment program, ensuring alumni voices are heard and their needs are addressed.
Event Coordination :
Plan, coordinate, and facilitate regular alumni events such as reunions, workshops, support groups, and recreational activities.
Collaborate with other staff members to develop engaging and relevant programming for alumni.
Resource Referral :
Connect alumni with resources and services that support their ongoing recovery.
Work collaboratively with CRR’s Outreach team to maintain a comprehensive database of community resources and referrals.
Assist alumni and community members in reconnecting with the Admissions team if a relapse occurs, ensuring timely access to appropriate support and services.
Program Advocacy :
Advocate for the alumni community within the organization, ensuring their needs are considered in program development and decision-making processes.
Collect feedback from alumni to continuously improve program offerings and services.
Communication and Outreach :
Develop and implement marketing strategies to engage and grow the alumni network.
Conduct weekly recovery meetings for ATS and CSS levels of care.
Work with the Social Media Specialist to create content for newsletters, social media, and other communication channels to keep alumni informed about program updates, events, and success stories.
Family Engagement :
Add emails for loved ones of patients to our Family Support Group mailing list and send timely meeting invitations.
Facilitate Family Support Group meeting on Microsoft Teams, providing education on co-dependency and healthy family systems to attendees and supporting engagement.
Offer support to loved ones seeking help for themselves or family members experiencing relapse.
