CACI's Mastodon Design is looking to hire a Systems Engineer in Rochester, NY. This organization specializes in designing and building hardware and software to meet our customers' next requirement. We focus on offering devices that can be fielded immediately to meet the mission needs that lie directly ahead. Size, weight, power, and packaging are of paramount importance in everything we design and build. Our expertise allows us to rapidly provide these solutions in specialized electronic / mechanical design, embedded & application-level software, reverse engineering & protocol analysis, and RF signals exploitation and communications systems.

We are currently seeking a systems engineer to join our systems engineering department. Ideal candidates will have 5+ years of system development experience. Focus on RF, Computer, and Electro-mechanical systems.

Responsibilities :

• Work collaboratively across the engineering organization to track and manage system requirements for end systems
• Analyze system requirements from end systems and users
• Develop test plans and procedures
• Conduct tests and document results
• Perform operational analysis and develop concept of operations / use cases for Mastodon equipment
• Provide technical support for application notes
• Conduct vehicle site surveys and associated vehicle integration designs for Mastodon equipment
• Procure and validate 3rd party OEM products
• Develop and write software install procedures for laptops, including Mastodon and 3rd party software

Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is : $82,100-$172,400
