About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - Wound Care (Ostomy Certified)

Hours per Shift : 40

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Registered Nurse (RN)

Certifications : BLS (required)

Wound care certification (required)

Ostomy certification (CWOCN) (required)

Must-Have :

General wound care background is necessary.

Experience with wound vacs and nurse level debridement is essential.

Ability to perform ABIs and cast cutting is required.

Description :

This position is for inpatient wound care.

The candidate will manage a diverse range of patients with various wounds.

Wound types include diabetic foot wounds, vascular wounds, and pressure injuries.

Patient ratios are typically 1 patient per hour, dependent on complexity.

The unit will provide support from CNPs and other RNs, as well as a CNA for the outpatient team.

Charting will be done using the EPIC system.

Floating between inpatient and outpatient may occur.

Scheduling is Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM.

There will be no shifts required on nights, weekends, or major holidays.

The work environment fosters a tight-knit, family feel with a lot of autonomy and independence.
