About The Position

Binghamton, New York Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking  Board Certified / Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians (ABEM / AOBEM)  for a long-term locum assignment in Binghamton, New York. This busy  Level I Trauma Center offers diverse scheduling across multiple shift types, a collaborative physician / APP staffing model, and consistent monthly shifts with competitive compensation.

Assignment Highlights

Location :  Binghamton, New York

Specialty :  Emergency Medicine

Coverage Term :  Long-term (6+ months)

Shifts Available :  ~15 shifts per month

Shift Times :

Physicians : 6a–6p, 9a–5p, 5p–1a, 6p–6a

APCs : 11a–11p

Annual ED Volume :  ~36,000 visits (~2 patients / hour)

Hospital Beds :  197 |  ED Beds :  28

Trauma Designation :  Level I

Staffing Model :  Physicians with APC coverage (supervision required)

EMR :  Cerner

Privileges :  Full credentialing required (60–90 days); no temporary privileges available

Candidate Requirements

Board Certification / Eligibility :  ABEM or AOBEM

Licensure :  Active New York medical license required (no pending accepted)

Certifications :  ACLS & PALS required

Experience :  3+ years Emergency Medicine experience

Skills :  Full-scope EM physician practice with APC supervision
