Key Responsibilities :
Provide compassionate and quality care to every patient.Guide parents and patients through our processes prior to treatment.Educate patients about proper oral hygiene and provide post-treatment instructions.Prepare patients for examinations and treatments.Take x-rays and accurately save them to patient charts, as permitted by the location.Ensure operational readiness of hygiene bays and operatory rooms.Set up trays for dental procedures.Mix dental materials, including amalgam, cement, pulp paste, and impression materials.Sterilize and disinfect all instruments, equipment, chairs, and rooms.Assist dental professionals during procedures, including :Documenting patient information and treatment plans in charts.Providing suctioning and holding retractors during surgeries.Pouring, trimming, and polishing impression casts.Fabricating custom impression trays.Maintain the highest integrity by following all governmental regulations, company standards, and compliance programs.Perform other related duties as assigned.Qualifications :
Must have graduated from high school or possess a GED equivalent.X-ray certification preferred, depending on state and practice requirements.Certification as a dental assistant is preferred per state regulations.Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, depending on location.Exhibit the highest integrity by adhering to all governmental regulations and company compliance programs.Willingness to take on additional duties as necessary.We Offer :
