Your Role

A s a Senior Staff Accountant at Encore, you will not only lead month-end activities and own complex areas of the close, but also bring the judgment and business context that elevate accounting beyond numbers. This role is built for someone with advanced technical strength, the ability to explain the why behind processes, and the patience to drive change in partnership with stakeholders. You will set the bar for reconciliations, schedules, and documentation, while modeling collaboration and resilience when implementing improvements. You will work directly with Controllers and operations partners to accelerate the close, strengthen controls, and provide insights that improve margin and cash. Success in this role requires balancing precision with adaptability — ensuring accuracy while also building trust, handling pushback constructively, and guiding others to understand both the technical and business impact of accounting decisions. Industry experience with coaches is not required.
