job_description.job_card.job_descriptionBachelor's degree in business, life sciences, health, or related field 1-2 years of relevant experience in life sciences and / or health (e.g., pharma, biotech, CRO, academic medical centers, cancer centers), preferably in an R&D setting Basic knowledge of key R&D functions including preclinical research, clinical development, regulatory affairs, and quality or safety functions Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to synthesize complex issues into actionable insights Effective written and verbal communication; ability to convey information clearly Proficiency with core business tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint) Willingness to travel based on project requirements Advanced coursework or degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in life sciences, business, public health, or related discipline Prior R&D / clinical trials / clinical development consulting experience Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (GxP, ICH, FDA) and compliance in R&D Exposure to tools used in R&D and clinical development (e.g., CTMS) Comprehensive compensation and benefits; base salary ranges vary by location, with Total Rewards including medical / dental, pension and 401(k), and paid time off Hybrid work model with expectation of in-person collaboration 40-60% of the time Flexible vacation policy and designated holidays, personal / family care leave, and other well-being leaves

EY is seeking a Staff level consultant for our Life Sciences R&D practice within Consulting. The role supports client engagements in the life sciences and health domain, focusing on strategic planning, business transformation, operating model optimization, clinical trial acceleration, data analytics, research compliance and regulatory affairs, and technology implementation.
Your responsibilities
- A majority of time spent supporting client engagement teams and working with a wide variety of clients to deliver professional services in life sciences and health domains.
- Contribute to projects in strategic planning, operating model optimization, clinical trial acceleration, data analytics, regulatory affairs, quality and safety functions, and technology implementation support.
