Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Counselor - Perryville and Ste Genevieve role at Community Counseling Center, Cape Girardeau, MO.
Location : Perryville and Ste Genevieve, Missouri
- Full Time : Exempt
- Work Hours : 8a-4 : 30p M-F. Schedule may change to offer evening flexibility or four 10-hour days. Details provided during interview.
Responsibilities
Provide individual and group counseling for substance use for clients enrolled in SUD and our SOR / MAT program.Provide counseling to clients in our gambling program and ensure the highest level of care using stage-wise treatment.Conduct counseling in accordance with Community Counseling Center policies and procedures.Facilitate counseling and education groups; educate family members of SUD consumers; provide overdose education to clients and families.Offer coverage for the ITCD program as needed.Make appropriate referrals within and outside the agency; transport clients as needed to meet program requirements.Attend ITCD multi-disciplinary team meetings.Document according to clinical policies and procedures, DMH, CARF, and other applicable standards.Qualifications
Must meet the Division of Behavioral Health's definition of Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP). QAP options include :A Qualified Mental Health Professional, orAn individual meeting MO Credentialing Board requirements for credentials such as CADC, CRADC, CRAADC, CCJP, CCDP, CCDP-D, RADC-P, or RADC.CPR / FA certification required; valid state driver's license (Class E in Missouri or equivalent) and current auto insurance.Must be able to obtain CPR / FA certification.More information on credentials is available at the MO Credentialing Board Website : missouricb.com / credentials /About Community Counseling Center
