Part-Time Wound Care Clinician (NP / PA) - Galax, VA
Rebirth Advanced Healing is seeking a licensed and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Clinical team in Galax, VA as a Part-Time Wound Care Clinician. In this role, you will be responsible for managing an assigned patient caseload within specific facilities, providing expert-level direct patient care, and clinical oversight. Your work will be vital in delivering high-quality, human-centric care that prioritizes clinical excellence, data-driven decisions, and trust through transparency. The position averages 20 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct Patient Care & Clinical Management : Conduct comprehensive wound assessments, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and perform advanced wound care procedures, such as sharp debridement and application of Cellular and Tissue-based Products (CTPs). You will also be responsible for all necessary clinical documentation and patient education.
- Team Collaboration : Work closely with the state-based team, including the Regional Clinical Manager (RCM), Regional Sales Manager (RSM), and Regional Business Development Manager (RBDM), to ensure coordinated patient care that aligns with regional goals. You will also serve as a clinical resource for other OMWC clinicians (RNs, LPNs).
- Quality & Compliance : Adhere to OMWC's clinical protocols, company policies, and ethical guidelines, ensuring all clinical activities comply with federal and state regulations like HIPAA and OSHA.
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in VirginiaMaster's degree from an accredited NP or PA program.A minimum of 2-3 years of clinical experience as an NP or PA is required, with at least one year of direct wound care experience preferred.Strong clinical skills in wound assessment, treatment, and advanced procedures.Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and other clinical software.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a decentralized team.Compensation
This role offers an annual base salary of $60,000 (for an average of 20 hours per week) plus is eligible for performance-based incentives based on : Patient Quality & Outcomes, State Teamwork Performance, and Loyalty & Values.
