Position is responsible for excellent customer service and technical support to all Bank employees. Based on-site at any of our Middle Georgia locations.

We are searching for a full-time Information Technology (IT) Analyst to support the Bank's IT department. This position is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service and technical support to the Bank's employees. Service area will span across all functional areas of the Bank and include both hardware and software programs. This is an on-site position and can be based at any of our Middle Georgia locations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide Level 1 technical support for Bank hardware, software, and network related issues via phone, email, or in person.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems promptly, escalating complex issues to higher-level support when necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, and software applications.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding employees, including setting up accounts and devices.
  • Gather data and prepare monthly reports for review by Management.
  • Collaborate with IT team member(s) and IT Management to improve processes and system performance.
  • Educate users on best practices for IT security and system usage.
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of financial industry technical issues and trends.
  • Assist IT Management with all Annual Upgrades, End of Year processes, and special projects as needed.
  • Support the management of the business continuity and disaster recovery functions of the Bank.

Environmental and Physical Activity

  • Fast-paced banking / business office environment with standard office temperature, moderate noise from computer(s), printer(s), telephone, fax, copier, scanner and other office equipment, and median traffic.
  • Ability to walk, sit, stoop, kneel, reach, lift (up to 15 pounds), and stand for various lengths of time and meet other physical demands required to perform the job.
  • Ability to operate and use a computer, printer, telephone, fax, copier, scanner, other office equipment and tools needed and used to perform this job.
  • Qualifications

  • High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent years IT experience).
  • Proven experience in an IT Help Desk or Technical Support Role.
  • Experience with Jack Henry Products and / or Cognos is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, and Teams.
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Proficient with the ability to quickly learn the applications, hardware, and software used in the Bank.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Project management experience, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
