Responsibilities

The Office Manager is a permanent, full-time position supporting the overall mission of the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) by facilitating all daily operations of a local DHS Field Office. As an Office Manager, your responsibilities would include :

• Responsible for managing the Records Operation and timely delivery of all deliverables at one designated DHS Field Office site,
• Monitors data entry, mail and file operations, and quality control processes to ensure compliance with the DHS Contract,
• Plans and coordinates with other Contract Supervisors and Quality Control personnel,
• Directs, assists, and provides guidance to the Contract Supervisors in various functional areas, establishes priorities and reallocates resources as needed to meet goals established by DHS,
• Provides guidance on issues such as administration, property control, facility maintenance, safety, security, customer service, and daily production and staffing as required by the contract,
• Provide supervision and guidance through scheduling staff, approving time off, handling disciplinary actions, mentoring staff,
• Participate in the hiring process for all on-site staff, including the interview process and hiring decision,
• Prepares and submits timely and accurate reports to the Operations / Deputy Operations Assurance Managers, PMO, and / or customer,
• These deliverables may include production reports, customer service reports, employee timesheet reports, employee training records and evaluations, quarterly inventory of Government Furnished Property (GFP), Significant Incident Reports, and other documents as necessary or requested,
• Maintains close coordination on operational issues,
• Other duties as assigned.

Pay Range : $48,000 - $52,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
