Pathology Physician at AnyPlace Management and Diagnostics, Inc. summary :

We are seeking an AP / CP certified Pathologist to provide pathology services in Michigan. The role involves reading 35-50 cases daily, grossing specimens, and performing various laboratory procedures across multiple specialties, including anatomic pathology. The position offers a Monday to Friday schedule with responsibilities shared between full-time staff and support from histotechnologists.

We are seeking an experienced AP / CP certified Pathologist to help our client out in Michigan as soon as credentialed!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Read approximately 35-50 cases per day
  • Gross and process your own specimens
  • Cut frozen sections using Cryostat
  • Handle a variety of cases, including GI biopsies, breast biopsies, neuropathology, and neurosurgical cases
  • Perform hematology, microbiology, chemistry / serology, and blood bank procedures
  • Specialize in anatomic pathology procedures : Surgical, GI, GU, Neuropathology, Dermatopathology, Hematopathology, and Cytology

Schedule :

  • Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Rotating call schedule : Alternate weeks starting Friday at 5 PM through the following Friday at 8 AM

    • Clinical Support :

  • Work alongside 1 full-time pathologist
  • Supported by a team of histotechnologists

    • Technology & Tools :

  • EMR : Allscripts Sunrise
  • Pathology System : NovoPath

    • Qualifications :

  • AP / CP certified pathologist
  • Experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to gross own specimens and perform required procedures

    • Additional Information :

  • Case logs required
  • Will consider candidates with IMLC licensure
  • Credentialing typically takes 30 days, prioritized by start date
