Expert-level knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems. Proficiency in advanced diagnostics and complex repairs (e.g., CAN bus, ECM). Ability to supply a full set of professional tools suitable for the job. Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in high-pressure settings. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle (mobile role). Ability to pass background checks. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor / outdoor environments. Multiple ASE certifications, including T2 (Diesel Engines), T3 (Drive Train), T4 (Brakes), T5 (Suspension and Steering), T6 (Electrical / Electronic Systems), T7 (Heating, Ventilation, and A / C), and T8 (Preventive Maintenance) or Master Diesel Technician status. Lead technician, supervisory, or shop management experience. Proven expertise in field service or mobile repair. What You’ll Do
- Lead advanced diagnostics and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems (including CAN bus and ECM), as well as medium and light duty applications.
- Perform engine overhauls, rebuilds, and complex repairs with precision and efficiency.
- Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals to troubleshoot intricate issues.
- Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support high-level maintenance tasks.
- Mentor and train junior technicians, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Communicate expertly with customers, providing detailed diagnostics and service recommendations.
- Maintain meticulous records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Drive process improvements and ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
