• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing\n
• Current, Unencumbered New Jersey Registered Nurse License\n
• Previous experience in a supervisory position in long term care is preferred\n
• Prior experience in inpatient and palliative care is preferred\n
• Supervise the nursing staff on assigned shift by : monitoring the distribution of medications, blood draws, and other elements of patient care.\n
• Conduct nursing rounds on all each unit multiple times throughout the shift\n
• Provide education, as needed, to staff, residents and resident family members\n
• Assess the unique needs of each patient to determine appropriate treatment plans\n
• Track treatments and patient progress according to HIPAA guidelines\n
• Coordinate with supervising physicians to ensure smooth recovery process for residents\n
• Ensure staff are performing all duties in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines\n
• Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing or Administrator\n
• Licensed Practical Nurse may be considered\n\nRegistered Nurse-RN Unit Manager Schedules : \n
• Schedule : Full time, Mon-Fri 8-5p with on-call requirements\n
