Patient Types / Common Diagnoses : IPR : Spinal Cord Injuries, TBI, Strokes, Amputees, Multiple trauma, Hip fractures, bilateral knee replacements, s / p Cardiac surgery, s / p COVID, medically complex / debilitating patientsAcute : s / p Cardiac, s / p Ortho procedures, medically complex / debilitating patients

Outpatient : General Ortho (surgical non-surgical), Sports Med, Pediatrics (developmental), Neuro specific diagnoses (higher functioning), Spinal patients (surgical non-surgical)Skilled Nursing : similar to IPRRequired License, National Certification, Certifications (BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Drivers License and / or Insurance : OT : Current LA OT license OTA : Current LA OTA license

Skills required : OT / OTA : Experience and willingness to assist with ADL s, manage a case load independently; experience with above-mentioned patient types; working with the multidisciplinary teamSupport within the Department : SupervisorAssistant Director Most of the time, will be surrounded by other team members

Technology / Equipment : EMR

Inpatient Rehab Acute Care : Meditech Expanse Outpatient : WellskySkilled Nursing : AOD transitioning to Meditech Expanse

Floating : No floating between facilities, unless otherwise specified

Orientation : Attend a general hospital orientation + departmental and site specific orientation(2-3 days) will have full case load by the end of the week

Scheduling Hours - OT / OTA : 0730-1600 or 0700-1530 Weekend rotation : no weekend coverage for Outpatient; IPR and Acute care usually 1 per month

No call Holiday Expectations : No Holidays
