Senior Cost Accountant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting for a Senior Cost Accountant job in the Houston, TX area. This position will be working with Plant Management and the Supply Chain group. Qualified candidate will need to have 4 plus years’ experience in cost accounting.

Job Duties :

Analysis of cost roll

Analysis and reporting of spend and manufacturing variances

Review and approve capital requests and review of fixed assets

Complete various monthly closing activities including preparation of journal entries, key account analyses and forecasting

Health check of risk inventory

Support of plant management

Assist in internal / external audits

Assist in development, coordination, and completion of annual plan and mid-year business review processes

Performs special projects and ad-hoc analysis as assigned

Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

4 plus years’ experience in Accounting or Finance

Skills :

Excellent written and verbal skills

Proactive, driven to deliver results in a timely manner, and team-work culture

Ability to multi-task in a very dynamic environment

Employment Type : Full Time

Pay Details : $100,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
