Position Overview

Eurasia Group, an independent political risk consultancy, is seeking a motivated researcher to help interpret and predict Washington political events for financial market and corporate clients. You will be based in the firm's Washington office.

More specifically, in this role you will :

• Take primary responsibility for compiling, editing, and publishing Eurasia Group's daily newsletter on US politics.
• Perform in-depth qualitative and quantitative research on policy issues related to trade, immigration, government spending, and foreign affairs, among others, for contributions to both short written deliverables and longer research reports.
• Support senior analysts in client briefings, including, but not limited to, drafting pre-reads, assembling slide decks, and disseminating meeting summaries.
• Assist with the US team's election coverage, which involves evaluating polling data alongside assessments of candidate quality and macroeconomic fundamentals.

Qualifications :

The applicable base salary range for this role is $50,000 to $55,000.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, and education. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
