Corporate Accountant

Corporate Staff Accountant

The Corporate Staff Accountant plays a key role in supporting the daily operations of the accounting department. This position is responsible for journal entries, financial reporting, account reconciliations, and audit support. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized.

Responsibilities

• Execute month-end close processes to meet reporting deadlines.
• Prepare and record journal entries and reconcile accounts across multiple entities.
• Analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial statements.
• Investigate and resolve variances in account reconciliations; collaborate with peers and escalate issues to the Accounting Manager when necessary.
• Contribute to the preparation of annual audited financial statements.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support financial operations and reporting.
• Document policies, procedures, and workflows for assigned responsibilities.
• Participate in ad-hoc and recurring projects to provide financial analysis and drive process improvements.
• Analyze lease and owner payment data; recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site work from Monday to Friday. Overtime is required during peak periods, including month-end and year-end closures.

This is a Permanent position based out of Delray Beach, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $85000.00 / yr.
