HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Job Title : Registered Nurse – PCU (Progressive Care Unit)

Location :  Greensboro, NC 27401

Shift : Day | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 30 PM)

Contract Length : 16 weeks

Required Qualifications :

  • Minimum 2 years of PCU experience (1 : 5 ratios) – REQUIRED
  • EPIC charting experience – REQUIRED
  • Must be able to manage and interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
  • License in hand at submission – REQUIRED
  • Certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS – REQUIRED
  • Must pass a Pass / Fail EKG test during compliance (2 attempts allowed)

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Previous charge experience
  • Central Line and PICC line care / management
  • Drip titration (cardiac and vasoactive)
  • Stroke and CVA experience
  • Wound care / wound vac
  • IV insulin protocol & insulin drip titration
  • Experience with telemetry, PCU / DOU / IMC / Stepdown settings

    • Patient Population & Diagnoses :

  • Adults only
  • Daily census : ~30 patients
  • Common Diagnoses :

    • Stroke (backup unit)

  • Renal & Endocrine Disorders
  • GI Disorders
  • Sepsis (lactic acid ≤ 4 mmol / L, normotensive)
  • Hematological Disorders
