Dean's Office Administrator
Situated in the Law School's Dean's Office, the Dean's Office Administrator provides a broad range of high-level, confidential administrative, financial, and project-related support to the leadership of the Law School, specifically the Dean and Deputy Dean. The Dean's Office Administrator may also provide administrative support to Human Resources, Events, the Associate Dean for Administration, and the Chief of Staff.
Responsibilities include :
Minimum qualifications include vocational training, apprenticeships, or the equivalent experience in a related field (not typically required to have a four-year degree). Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, experience working in higher education settings, and the ability to maintain highly sensitive and confidential matters with discretion. Preferred competencies include independently handling routine administrative and operational tasks, mastery of Microsoft Office Suite of products, excellent written and verbal communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse population, strong administrative and organizational skills, problem-solving skills, and knowledge of desktop publishing and web-related software.
