This position is part of the Charge Cord team and is located in Warren, Ohio or Troy, Michigan.
Summary :
Develop new Aptiv Electrification products and implement technologies while supporting / coordinating customer quotes, and design transfers to production team(s), for Electrified vehicles.
Responsibilities :
Lead design / development of electrified products and electrical system for North American OEM's
- Coordinate design and design change activities for various electrified vehicle customers
- Work closely to Product development teams to align Aptiv technology with customer needs and business pursuit
- Lead implementation of the latest technologies into Aptiv product designs
- Exploit Aptiv product differentiators that provides a competitive advantage (technology, cost, quality, services)
- Leverage Aptiv organizations and products into proposals for new business opportunities
- Work with Aptiv sales and Business Lines to ensure business objectives are met
- Create and deliver technically strong customer presentations
- Support, and work closely, with Aptiv Electrification teams in other regions
- Available to monitor and participate in harness and customer launch activities
- Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements
Must Haves (Basic Qualifications) :
Min. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)2+ years' experience in automotive and / or wiring system roles1+ years' experience in a team environment1+ years' experience in Electrical Schematics / Vehicle mechanizations understandingNice to Haves :
