The MEP Project Manager is responsible for the oversight of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems throughout the lifecycle of commercial construction projects. The role includes planning, scheduling, budgeting, coordinating with design teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring successful project delivery while maintaining compliance with safety and building codes.
Key Responsibilities :
Project Planning and Coordination
Lead planning and scheduling for all MEP system installation and integrationReview project plans, specifications, and contracts to define MEP requirementsDevelop and manage the MEP project schedule to ensure timely completionCoordinate with architects, engineers, and construction managers for seamless integrationOversee procurement and delivery of MEP materials and equipmentManage subcontractors to ensure efficient, cost-effective workTeam Leadership and Supervision
Supervise MEP teams, subcontractors, and field staffAssign tasks, monitor progress, and provide guidance to maintain project momentumFoster a collaborative environment and ensure effective communication among all stakeholdersMentor engineers, field staff, and subcontractors to develop technical and professional skillsConduct regular team meetings, resolve conflicts, and maintain safety and quality standardsBudget and Cost Control

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field5–10 years of experience managing MEP projects in commercial or industrial constructionProven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and coordinate subcontractorsIn-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and MEP standards (NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA)Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Primavera)Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under pressurePhysical Requirements
